Someone Invented A Head Hammock So You Can Finally Sleep On Planes.
Trying to sleep while traveling is the worst. Some are lucky enough to get an empty plane row all to themselves, allowing them to stretch out and stay comfortable. But for most of us, we have to figure out ways to sleep upright and not disturb our fellow passengers. It's not just planes, either: Busses, trains, and even cars present us with the same problem, and that problem mostly has to do with the fact that we can't keep our heads in place and comfortable while we snooze.
Well, rolling heads and sore necks of the world, rejoice: With this product, those problems might become a thing of the past.
It's called the NodPod, the "Ultimate Sleep Travel Solution." It's basically a comfy neck pillow that hooks to the back of your seat and keeps your head steady, recreating the position you'd be in if you were lying down. It may look slightly odd, but it's kind of genius. Check out more info on this awesome Kickstarter campaign below.
The NodPod argues that the reason it's hard to sleep sitting up is because you can't keep your head, neck, and back perpendicular. The NodPod solves that problem.
It claims that if you use it, you'll avoid pesky travel woes like back pain, jet lag, and annoying your fellow passengers when you accidentally fall asleep on their shoulders.
