The 13 Sexiest Scenes EVER Shot In Hollywood.
Sex sells. This isn't news. It's the reason behind innuendos, legs, and cleavage in advertisements, including those that have nothing to do with sex (M&M's anyone?), and nudity in films. While some people argue that nudity exploits women, others will argue the exact opposite. They say that nudity is liberating and that it promotes gender equality, that is, when done on a woman's own terms, as seen in the Free the Nipple campaign.
But in the entertainment industry, it's difficult to believe that there is a purpose for nudity other than to keep the theaters full. Some actresses have regretted or have at least been embarrassed to watch themselves nude on screen, especially after their families have seen it. And yet, not all of them feel this way. To some, nudity does not go without a deeper purpose, such as bringing truth to the role that they are playing.
A nude scene can make or break your career, especially when you're just starting out, but these actresses believed in the honesty that it brought to their characters (with the exception of Sharon Stone, who argued that she was unaware that the scene would be revealed so explicitly) and committed.

Before becoming a full-time actress, Gretchen Mol worked briefly as a model. She later starred in Canadian filmmaker Mary Harron's The Notorious Bettie Page. The biographical film focuses on Bettie Page, who was known as the Queen of Pinups.
Mol didn't earn her role merely for her sexual appeal, but rather for her decorum at a time when others were trying to vamp up the role, Harron noted.
#4. Margot Robbie in The Wolf of Wall Street
More recently, Margot Robbie captivated audiences as Naomi opposite Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf of Wall Street. To date, it is director Martin Scorsese's highest grossing film.
The young actress, 23 at the time, was hesitant when she learned that there would be some nudity, but has since fully defended its purpose.
"The whole point of Naomi is that her body is her only form of currency in this world. So when Marty was trying to help me out, and said in the scene where she seduces Jordan perhaps I could have a robe on, I said she wouldn’t. She has to be naked. She’s laying her cards on the table," said Robbie according to The Relegraph.
In addition to her sex appeal, Robbie has been praised as one of the best actresses in her age range today.
#5. Salma Hayek in Frida
Salma Hayek is known for her natural beauty. In 2002, she starred in the biopic Frida based on the Mexican painter, famous for her distinctive brows and self-portraits. Critics defended that the nudity in the film is more reflective of the artist's sensual nature rather than its focus on creating a sex symbol.
