This Rat And Dog Are The Weirdest (Cutest) Best Friends You’ll Ever See.
Sometimes you can form the most unlikely friendships. Osiris is a large Dutch Shepherd dog whose best friend is a rat named Riff Ratt. Three-year-old Osiris was rescued from an abandoned parking lot on Thanksgiving when he was just a puppy. Five-month-old Riff was purchased from a reptile food supplier. The fancy rat was so tiny that it was bottle-fed until it grew to a healthy size.
The two friends play and snuggle together. There is so much love and trust among the two species that Riff will get into the canine’s mouth to clean its teeth. Adding to the family dynamics is also another rat called Milhouse. The domesticated rodent is smaller and a lot more shy but is learning to live with his two roommates.
The animals even have their own Instagram account that captures their adorable moments together.
This is one of Osiris' favorite toys - one that belonged to my childhood dog Maggie before baby Osiris took it over. Riff also enjoys chewing on it, and sometimes they'll share the same toy and chew from opposite ends. Milhouse isn't quite old enough for chew toys but he sure does love running on a wheel!
Next, a rat that refuses to eat broccoli.
