25 Of The Most Heartwarming Things That Happened Recently.
I've been feeling a heaviness in my heart, and I know that I'm not the only one. In the past month, I've lost two people who are near and dear to my heart. These losses on top of the horrific events that came one after another have pushed me into a dark place. Angry, confused, and full of grief.
I know that it is important to see the light and to believe in it when I cannot see it, and that's exactly what I've been trying to do. I treat myself to a cup of coffee. Instead of driving, I walk to work so that I can spend more time talking with my mother. I write down good memories from both past and present. Sometimes, it feels like I'm just going through the motions but other times, they really help.
Something else that's helped me is looking at the good things other people (and animals) do, how they support family, friends, themselves, and even strangers. It's helped me realize how important it is to stay connected to the world despite the temptation to keep to myself.
These 25 photos don't make up for all that's been lost, but they do inspire us to keep going.
