Disney Princesses Never Have A Bad Hair Day… But She Fixed All That.

It seems Disney needs to issue a disclaimer highlighting its unrealistic body portrayal of its female characters. Tiny waists, perfect skin tone and long lustrous locks of hair are an impossible standard girls everywhere sadly attempt to replicate well into their adulthood.

However, Loryn Brantz of BuzzFeed is on a mission to dispel the notion of an impeccable physical standard. The illustrator loves to create and design art that will have you think, laugh and start a conversation over. She is the author of children's books entitled, Not Just a Dot and Harvey the Child Mime.

Her latest project showcases Disney princesses’ hair in real world circumstances. Everyone falls victim to the elements or has the less-than-fairytale hair moments, instead having to deal with humidity, frizz, bed-head and even static. Even the no-so-flattering situation of hair getting stuck on lipgloss is depicted with a beloved princess.

This is not the first time the New York-based creator has taken the princesses to task. She previously did a series of characters with realistic waistlines.

You can see the rest of the princesses on BuzzFeed and more of Brantz’s work on her website, Facebook.
