This Is The Third Largest Cruise Ship In The World…You Won’t Believe What It Has On Board!
The third largest cruise ship in the world, Royal Caribbean International’s Quantum of the Seas, will be ready to set sail in November 2014. It’s billed as ‘the world’s most futuristic and advanced ship’ featuring robotic bartenders, an ariel viewing pod, digital balconies, and floating DJs.
Upon boarding, guests will be issued wristbands to replace room keys and credit cards. They’ll also be able to track their luggage using digital tags and two separate apps that will allow them to book tables at any of the ship’s 18 restaurants or make appointments at the spa.
Guests can choose to sky dive, attend circus school, and check out the panoramic view in the North Star, a glass orb on a robotic arm that hoists travelers 300 feet over the water. There will also be a full-sized basketball court, surf simulator, rock climbing wall, bumper cars, roller skating rink, Broadway shows, and a music hall.
The first voyage in November is available for around $1,500 per person for an eight-night cruise. That’s a pretty good price for a trip into the future.
