She Gave $7 To A Stranger, But Had NO Idea He’d Find Out Where She Worked.
Tracy Warshal had no idea her act of kindness would encourage a stranger to pay it forward in a big way. Last December, the 39-year-old woman was in line to pay at the cashier at her local grocery store when a man realized he had forgotten his wallet. Warshal offered to pay his $7 bill, which the stranger obliged.
When the man asked her name, Warshal gave him her first name only and told him "Merry Christmas" and walked away. In January, the scheduling coordinator at Piedmont Cancer Institute was informed the stranger had tracked her down and made a $10,000 donation in her name.
The good samaritan noticed Warshal was wearing a Piedmont t-shirt and took it upon himself to do something incredible for her. The donor wants to remain anonymous but Warshal would still love to “give him a hug and say thank you.”
