Australia is a beautiful country surrounded by stunning beaches and warm temperatures all year-round, not to mention the adorable koala bears who have all the tourist enamoured. Still, Australia is not just fun and games. This country is home to the most dangerous animals in the world.

From the menacing stonefish that can kill a person from the pain of the sting alone to the honey bee which can make a grown person have difficulty breathing. In fact, there are over 30 deadly animals in just about every species from mammals, insects, reptiles, and marine life.

It goes without saying that when you come across any of these lethal creatures, it is best to stay away as the chance of survival are often 0. Despite the snake winning this battle, it too had a sad ending.

Marwick killed the snake when she was trying to catch it. "Accidentally dropped the glass jar I was trying to catch him in, on his head," she wrote on her Facebook post.
