Michael Jackson’s ‘Beat It’ Starts To Play, Now Watch The Girl In The Skates…
It’s hard to believe but a lot can be accomplished in three years. Feng Hui laced her first pair of roller blades when she was just a nine-year-old. By the time she was 12, the little girl from Shenzhen, China was competing at the international level.
For the 2011 World Artistic & Freestyle Roller Skating Grand Prix in Shanghai, Feng competed like a pro. She performed to Michael Jackson’s “Beat It,” while turning, twisting, taping, and even jumping to the song.
Feng trains three times a week and on weekends. She has four Junior World Championships under her belt. The tiny athlete started skating for leisure but now her focus is changing. “At the beginning, I played just for fun but now I hope I can do more to promote the sport in China,” says Feng. After watching the video, it's clear she's accomplishing her goal.
