This Couple Adopted A Grizzly Bear, And The ‘Family’ Photos Are SCARY Cute.
Apparently, the stereotypes are true: Everything is bigger and more badass in Russia. Take this Russian family, for example. Instead of getting a dog or cat, they introduced another animal into the family home: An actual bear.
According to the family, the 300 pound pet is totally gentle, and even sits with them at the table for dinner. The idea of having a large brown bear at the dinner table is totally terrifying, but once you realize his name is Stepan and he loves to cuddle, it kind of becomes an enviable setup. This is Svetlana and Yuriy Panteleenko, along with their bear, Stepan.
The family adopted Stepan when he was just three months old.
As he's spent his whole life with them, Stepan is extraordinarily gentle.
He even likes to cuddle up and watch TV with the family.
Despite the fact that he's more than 7 feet tall, Stepan manages to make himself right at home.
