I Thought It Was A Pavilion On The Beach… Then I Looked Closer And Was Blown Away.
On the beaches of Mount Maunganui, New Zealand, three artists, Jamie Harkins, David Rendu, and Constanza Nightingale, have been making spectacular optical illusions and 3D images.
They were inspired by 3D chalk drawings on pavement and wanted to see what it would be like at the beach.
The temporary, complex designs are made using rakes and sticks to create textures, contrast, and perspective.
