She Uses Sugar, Coffee And Food To Create Mesmerizing, Intricate Works Of Art.

Iona Vanc gives spoons a new purpose in life. We may use the utensils to eat, Vanc uses them as her canvas to create miniature food art. The Romanian artist loves food for more than its taste, so it may be natural for her to see it as more than something nutritional. When we see an apple, eggplant, cucumber, or even a pear, we may think of items off our grocery list. Vanc sees them as part of her tools needed to create Batman, or even Kermit the Frog.

Vanc seems to have a sweet tooth as well with her series Chocolate Equals Love. The set of tiny chocolate particles are used to make delicate declarations of love. The foodie shares all of her tiny work on Instagram. Vanc is an architect, which may explain her love for intricate and detailed designs. She describes the creation process as relaxing and fun.
