27 Ridiculous Smuggling Attempts That Went HORRIBLY Wrong.

It's a simple concept, but one that many people seem to have a hard time grasping: If something is illegal, it's probably not a good idea to try and carry it over international lines. Here's another way to put it: If you've got to hide it down your pants, you should probably leave it at home.

Unfortunately, the people below didn't seem to get it, and it landed them in a whole heap of trouble. These are the strangest and most egregious smuggling attempts we've ever read about. There's only one reason we feel slightly bad that they got caught, and that's because shoving birds down your pants feels like punishment enough.
