It’s An American Love Story… And It’ll Make You Believe In Miracles.

Samantha Dilberian had no idea the soldier who saved her brother’s life would become her future husband. Bryan Diberian and Staff Sergeant Christopher St. Onge were serving together in Afghanistan in July 2011, when an explosion struck them, killing a member of the unit and seriously wounding Bryan.

Christopher stayed with Bryan, helped stop the bleeding and took him to the hospital. Bryan lost his left arm and both of his legs. "You don't think about it at that exact moment, you're just worried about getting everyone out of there, but as soon as you get back to base that's when it sets in all your emotions come to you,” explains Christopher.

Christopher emailed and spoke on the phone with Samantha checking up on Bryan’s recovery. After eight months, they finally met in person and realized quickly they were in love.

The couple became engaged in August 2015. They heard of a contest held by Old McMickey's Farm in Odessa, Florida for military personnel.

For the two lovebirds, they didn't really think their story would be that interesting. "We live it, so we don't really think about it. But everyone seems to have the same reaction, everybody thinks it's just such an amazing story," says Samantha.

Despite meeting under difficult circumstances this couple has an inspiring love story. "Everything is just working out perfectly. I couldn't have asked for a better husband than Chris and he's so close to Bryan. It's just perfect," explains Samantha.
