They Took An Orchestra, Made Them Each Eat A Hot Chili Pepper, And Then Had Them Play.
What would compel conductor Claus “Chili” Pilgaard of the Danish National Symphony Orchestra to have his musicians eat a chili pepper mid-performance to Tango Jalouise and complete the piece afterwards? Probably to create the reaction of watery eyes, red faces, and comical body language, a contrast to the poise expected of the classical musicians.
That was a spicy performance! If this gave you tears from laughter, share it with your friends.
