Comedian Steve Harvey is used to entertaining people and making them laugh. One day, however, after the taping of one his shows Family Feud, Harvey took the time to speak to the audience. This time he had no intention of making anyone laugh.
The television host assumed the cameras were off when he told people in order to be successful in life, one must jump. Harvey challenges us to identify our gifts or talents and follow them to have a happy and fulfilled life. According to the 59-year-old, going to a job one hates is not living but barely existing. He promises the leap won’t be easy but it will be worth it in the end.
Harvey is speaking from the heart; he spent years homeless and living in his car in order to pursue his career in comedy. Today, in addition to hosting Family Feud, Harvey also has his own radio show, a dating website, a talk-variety show, and is a best-selling author.
