Stunning Photographs Of Beautiful People From Around The World By Steve McCurry.
American photographer Steve McCurry has spent most of his life traveling and documenting people and cultures from around the world. He’s best known for his Afghan girl photo on the cover of National Geographic that’s been called “the First World’s Third World Mona Lisa.”
His latest exhibition Olte Lo Sguardo displays 150 photos that he took during his 30 year career. It can be seen at the Villa Reale di Monza in Italy from now until April 6, 2015.
McCurry told designboom, “ For me a portrait is about connection. Somehow you connect with a person, visually or emotionally. I’ve often believed that a person’s life stories are kind of written on their face. It’s magical, it’s mystical the way you can connect to a person, it’s hard to describe. You know it when you see it.”
