Puppy Saved From Heroin Overdose Smothers New Owner With Sloppy Kisses.

Police officers in Texas were called to arrest two suspects that were switching price tags in a store. After arresting the two men, the officers decided to check their car as well. It was a good thing they did, as they found a little puppy locked inside the car.

Not only was the pup left stranded in the car, he was overdosed on heroin. The officers immediately drove the poor doggie to the vet, where they were able to treat and help him just in the nick of time.

“He was extremely lethargic — almost comatose — and was basically limp,” said Jolene DeVito, police media specialist with the Carrollton Police Department.
