This Jilted Bride Gets Over Her Ex… Thanks To The Best Customer Service Ever.
Christina Grady, 36, of Pittsburgh was trying to pick up the pieces after her fiancé broke up with her. She had to move out of the apartment and buy new furniture. On top of that, she discovered that she could no longer use her credit card because of suspicious activity on the account.
In order to reactivate her account, she called Capital One's customer service. On the phone was a woman known as Tonya KYY905. Tonya didn't only listen to her account issues she also lent an open ear to Christina's post-breakup blues.
In a random act of kindness, the customer service rep then told Christine that she wasn't only going to reactivate her account, she was also going to add 4,500 miles. For those of you that are worried, please note that this isn't an exorbitant amount, they aren't miles in a literal sense but actually $45.00, so we're certain that it was within company policy. In the end, it's the kindness that counts, right?
This story reminds us to always be kind. You never know what people are going through, if their hearts are hurting like hell, and any kind of support, even from a stranger, can make all the difference.
