She Explains How Do This Cool Hair DIY, And The Results Are Stunning.

Who would have thought that home economics class would come in handy one day. The latest hair trend coming from the United Kingdom is called hair tapestry. The colorful look has been making its appearance at music festivals. The patterned style requires threads, a needle point canvas, and a needle.

The look is relative easy to achieve. Sections of the hair are used to weave the thread through, creating simple or complex patterns. Hair tapestry was conceived by hair stylist Alex Brownsell. The hair guru was inspired when she was working on a photo shoot in Argentina. Brownsell saw the beautiful Andean tapestry and applied it to hair.

The new fad is making its way into North America. Take a look at this tutorial to get you started.
