Student High On Anesthesia Sends Inappropriate Email To Her Teacher.
One should never be held accountable for their actions and words after surgery. Particularly the surgery where the wisdom teeth are pulled out. Whatever the medication used to kill the pain from having the final set of molars removed, it is potent. It makes the most sane and composed person act a little goofy, crazy, and just not normal.
Abby Jo Hamele is one of those patients who was not herself after the procedure. The 19-year-old confused her pug Daisy with her old canine Sammy who had passed away. When she found out it was Daisy, she burst into tears, crying for several minutes. But that was only the beginning of her delirious state.
Hamele thought she was going to be late handing in her assignment for her philosophy class. Hence, she did the most sane thing she thought she should be doing while medicated, she emailed her philosophy teaching assistant, Kevin Patton.
The University of Nebraska–Lincoln student shared her email with her TA on Twitter.

The response from social media was of complete and total love at the email.
It wasn't enough to just love the post, quoting from the note was necessary.
It's unclear if Kevin Patton is ok being called "my dude."
Users pointed out she gave a sound argument for the extension.
