Watch The Emotional Moment This Paralyzed Man Dances With His Wife For The First Time.

Six years ago, Joel Jackson experienced something that would change his live forever. After a car accident that threw him from the vehicle, Jackson was internally decapitated, losing the section of his spine that connects with his skull. Doctors didn't think he would live, but by some miracle, he did. 87 days later, he was home with his young wife, Lauren.

Things weren't all easy, though. Joel remains paralyzed from the neck down, and has brain damage. He had to relearn how to talk, and his quality of life has completely changed. However, there is one thing he was able to do with his wife Lauren that neither of them ever thought possible.

Using the help of a physical therapy harness, the couple were able to share a dance.
