It’s The World’s Smallest Art, And The Level Of Detail Is Staggering.

Tomo Tanaka is a Japanese artist who excels at creating something that feels big and important -- but also happens to come in the smallest of packages.

Tanaka uses a huge range of materials to create these insanely detailed miniatures, ranging from microscopic versions of delicious meals, to teeny-tiny accessories, to the smallest of outdoor and household items.

The art of the miniature is something that has increased in popularity in recent years (particularly the work that comes from Japan), but these just might be the best we've seen so far. Each one of these tiny works of art looks more realistic than the last. See examples of Tanaka's work below.
