Take A Peek At An Underwater Airbnb That Lets You Sleep With Sharks.
By now, you've probably all heard of AirBnb -- in fact, you've probably stayed in a few of them yourself. But not all AirBnB spots are created equal. In fact, some of them aren't even above sea level.
This new Parisian AirBnb is located in the shark tank of the Paris aquarium. It's surrounded by a 360 degree glass wall and sits 10 meters deep, the perfect self contained room for viewing all of the 35 sharks that live there.
The concept was created to help squash the myths surrounding sharks and explain their crucial presence in the ocean's ecosystem. But whether it's an educational experience or simply a cool place to stay, this room is one of the most unique AirBnB's we've ever seen.
Shark conservationist Fred Buyle will enlighten visitors to the room with facts about the creatures -- including one that states that you're more likely to die taking a selfie than you are in a shark attack.
Naturally, there are a few rules to stay in the room, including prohibiting guests from taking flash photography at night.
AirBnB is offering the room as part of a contest for three pairs of two people, allowing them to stay in the room for three consecutive nights between April 11 and 13.
Would you be into staying overnight in this unique room?
Despite the fact that it's 10 meters under the water, it looks pretty damn comfortable.
Above all else, you really can't beat the view.
