The Calgary resident used helium-filled balloons to fly over his city last Sunday in a promotional stunt for his company. Of course, the stunt could have cost him his life - but it seems like Boria wasn't concerned with those kinds of details.
He attached the balloons to a lawn chair, and after a countdown, he soared into the sky and landed in an industrial field down the way. It looks pretty impressive, but the police weren't impressed: Boria was arrested and charged with mischief and endangering a life.
It's a hefty price to pay, but Boria says he hopes eventually the courts understand that he only had good intentions. We're just glad someone did it so we don't have to.
