Dying Dog Went On His Last Walk, And Hundreds Turned Up To Say ‘Goodbye’.

You know you will fall in love with your pet the moment you bring him or her home. You may however, not realize just how much they will be there for you in the good and bad times life throws your way.

Animals have a natural instinct that know when you need a good cuddle or just want to be silly and play. Mark Woods has been married twice, engaged three times and moved from London to Cornwall. Yet the one friend who has been constant in the last 18 years is his dog Walnut. The two love going to Porth Beach, Newquay in the United Kingdom.

The whippet which is a greyhound-spaniel cross had been struggling with his health and Woods knew the end was nearing. He wanted to take Walnut to Porth Beach, the canine’s favourite place for his last walk. Woods invited other humans and their dogs to join him. He had no idea the turn out would be so big.

Walnut had collapsed a couple of times and was not able to walk any longer.
