This 80 Year-Old Model Proves It’s Never Too Late To Follow Your Dreams.

We set deadlines for ourselves, sometimes by date and other times by age, in order to complete our goals. If we don't make it, we either extend the deadline or let it go. But 80-year-old model and actor Wang Deshun proves that goals can be achieved at any time, at any age, as long as you continue to work towards it.

Just last year, Wang participated in China Fashion Week in Beijing. While the audience seemed to enjoy the designs well enough, they lit up when the then 79-year-old strutted down the runway, baring a well kept mane and chiseled chest.

But in a video interview, Wang laughs about how reporters called him an 'overnight success' after seeing him on the runway. Instead, he explains that he worked his entire life for that moment. Born in 1936 in Shenyang, a northeastern city in China, he later became a stage actor at the age of 24.

Throughout his life, he moved on to a variety of artistic professions including mime, and eventually created his own art called 'living sculpture.' To do this, he worked out for four hours a day for three years to make his body look like sculpture, he told the Yangtze Evening Post.
