You Can’t Wear This Jacket Because It’s A Wooden Sculpture… Yeah, This Guy’s Art Is UN-Real!
These are Livio De Marchi’s creations and they are spectacular! He grew up in Venice and learned to sculpt in the Venetian tradition. After years of using marble and bronze, he ultimately chose wood as his primary working material. His impeccable sculptures range from elaborate purses to life-like jackets to Volkswagen Beatles that float and drive on water!
#1. A life-sized purse with delicate flowers blooming all over
#2. A coat and worn tie hanging from a wall. It almost feels like you can pick either one up with a single finger.
#3. A jacket sculpture with the inside etched as cozy looking cushion fabric. Notice the rope holding it up. Must be heavy!
#4. You might actually be able to wear this dazzling hat.
