A homeowner in Southern California found an injured, blind screech owl lying on the front porch. The owl was taken to the Wildlife Learning Center in Sylmar, California where he was rehabilitated and a decision was made to adopt him and make the center his permanent home. The screech owl now lives in the center’s founder Paul Hahn’s office.
The beautiful owl was appropriately named Zeus, the Greek god of sky and thunder, because of his celestial eyes.
