After 19-year-old Boyan Slat went diving in Greece, he noticed all the plastic and garbage floating in the ocean, and had an idea that he just couldn’t let go of. He made it his mission to find a solution to clean it all up.
After lots of research and experimentation, he invented a method to clean up almost half of the great Pacific’s garbage patch in just 10 years, and founded the project called [The Ocean Cleanup](https://www.theoceancleanup.com/) which is now raising money for this cause. At the time of this story, they’re halfway to their goal of 2 million dollars!
This young man's enthusiasm is quite encouraging. SHARE this awesome campaign for the sake of clean oceans, and to help him reach his crowdfunding goal.
