In refugee encampments across places like Greece, smiles and laughter are in short supply. Entire Syrian families have had to flee their country, with no certain idea of when or if they'll ever be allowed to go back. As such, it's hard to muster up the energy to survive, let alone smile.
But one group of traveling clowns hopes to change all of that.
The members of Clowns Without Bordered have traveled to refugee camps with one mission: To make the people there smile. They've performed for over 6,000 people, and they're not slowing down. As one member of CWB says in the video, "Everybody laughs in the same language."
