These Homeless Pups Have Their Very Own Train, And It’s Doggone Cute.

Bostick thought it might be nice to take his charges on little adventures.

It's like something out of your wildest, most wonderful dreams, but someone has actually gone out of their way to make it real: It's a dog train, and this man created it to take a bunch of dogs on adventures every single day.

Eugene Bostick retired about 15 years ago, but it was then that he found his true calling: Being a train conductor for stray dogs. Here's a little bit of background on his story:

We live down on a dead-end street, where me and my brother have a horse barn. People sometimes come by and dump dogs out here, leaving them to starve. So, we started feeding them, letting them in, taking them to the vet to get them spayed and neutered. We made a place for them to live.

And in addition to all of that, Bostick found a magical way to keep the dogs happy.

That's when he came up with a train design just for them.

Bostick was inspired by a neighbor who used his tractor to pull rocks. He realized it would be perfect for what he wanted to do, and thus, the dog train was bestowed upon an eternally grateful world.
