Danish artists Mikael Wulff and Anders Morgenthaler create official-looking graphs and cartoons using unofficial statistics from our daily lives. The duo started their cartoon career in a comic strip competition in 2001. Their winning gave them the opportunity to be published in a national Danish newspaper, Politiken, for one month. The comic strip became very popular and they were regularly featured in Scandinavian and German newspapers and blogs. It can also be found in The New York Times.
