He Glued LEGO To His Tablet. The Reason Why… I Can’t Wait To Try.

First, he needed a few basic LEGO materials.

It's not every day that we'd feel comfortable enough experimenting with DIY projects on our expensive electronics, but that's exactly what this guy did. Turns out, his risk was worth it: He LEGOized his tablet, and the results are pretty damn cool.

Using just a few materials and his patience, he created a stand for his tablet that can attach the accessories he uses with it. The finished product is streamlined, compact, and made possible with everyone's childhood fave, LEGOs. See how he did it, and the outcome, below.

Luckily, the color of the LEGO matches the color of the tablet quite well.

The width is pretty accurate, too.

The back will serve as a type of kickstand.

Instead of marking it up with ink, he used LEGOs to mark where he wanted to cut.

After cutting, he did a test fitting for the large lego pieces on the tablet.

Then came time to bend at the cut, to create the kickstand.

It didn't bend quite enough, so he had to give it a larger gap between the two pieces.

Now it bends enough to keep the tablet upright.

It was that easy: It's basically done.

Now all he needs is the stuff to attach to it.

Shockingly, everything he would normally use stays on.

It's also totally customizable, and you can swap out the accessories you'd use in the back. Pretty cool, huh?
