Mr. Walker is a blonde Labrador retriever who tried to become a professional guide dog, but things didn't exactly work out for him.

I'm pretty sure no one can disagree when I say that animals are a gift to their human companions. They give us love, affection, and an endless amount of laughter. They unknowingly create an abundance of happiness in our lives. While all animal companions are good at doing this, some are actually trained to do so. Certain dogs are trained to become guide dogs and are given very important jobs after completing a training program. Guide dogs can help someone who's blind go about their daily lives, or help someone that suffers from PTSD come out of an anxiety attack. Not all dogs that go into the training program actually graduate to become a guide dog. This gorgeous Labrador is one of those dogs that didn't succeed in the program, but that didn't stop him from finding a job that was absolutely perfect for him.

Unfortunately, he failed out of the program, but that didn't mean he couldn't find a job helping people out.

On July 31, 2017, Mr. Walker became the official canine ambassador for Park Hyatt Melbourne hotel.

Mr. Walker has some pretty important duties. Not only does he greet guests in the lobby, he also attends extremely important meetings, and continues to act as an advocate for Guide Dogs Victoria.

Mr. Walker also accompanies people on their walks around the grounds. I bet this is his favorite part of the job!

Don't think he's being worked to the bone, though. When it's his break time, he gets to enjoy a nice nap on a custom-made Tasmanian Oak bed.

After working for a little while, the hotel realized it turned out to be a bit too much work for one dog.

So, they hired a co-worker for Mr. Walker! Parker the Pug was hired to deliver luggage, just to make sure none of it gets lost.

Thanks to his affectionate nature, and his love for people, Mr. Walker found a great job for him that he seems to be very happy with.
