This is Josephine Sittenfeld's friend, Sophie, one of her classmates from Princeton.

A lot can happen in 17 years, particularly to our bodies. Just ask any A-list celebrity out there and they'll tell you that time does some interesting things to our faces. But you don't have to be a star to know that. You've probably gone to your high school or college reunion and seen how everyone else is different. Well, photographer Josephine Sittenfeld from Providence recently went to her college reunion, and it was inspiring. She decided to reach out to some friends to create a before and after portrait called Reunion. And let's just say that the difference between these shots from 2000 and 2017 are incredible.

You gotta love the change between 2000 and 2017. She looks feminine, delicate, and strong, but while she looked younger and tentative 17 years ago, she looks wiser, cautious and even more amazing in 2017.

Sittenfeld rubbed elbows with the unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt before she was unbreakable.

In 2000, actress Ellie Kemper looked absolutely baby-faced and naïve. But she's aged well over the years, and her career skyrocketed after staring in epic comedy show,The Office.

She photographed friends like Larry on medium-format film way back in 2000, but forgot about them.

Years later, Sittenfeld remembered she had them and decided to recreate some of them. As you can see, a lot has changed for Larry, like that baby he's now carrying in 2017. But he's still trapped behind the glass door.

In the early shots, folks like Ethan look a bit chaotic and resistant in front of the camera.

Fast forward 17 years and you'll find that Ethan now knows how to tuck his shirt in and he's got a more relaxed body posture. He's also looking a little more handsome in those glasses.

One thing Sittenfeld learned is that the more things change, the more they stay the same.

Just look at Becky over here, who seems to have aged in reverse. She definitely looks much younger in 2017 than she did in 2000. But one thing that hasn't changed is her posing in front of a car with her hands in her pockets.

If there's one thing about Eveline that doesn't seem to change it's her fierce stance.

Her hairstyle might have changed, but she's still truly powerful. Just look at the way she continues to stand with her hands on her hips. This is one gal you don't want to mess with.

Confidence isn't always easy to achieve, but life has a way of shaping you and making you stronger.

Anna over here seems to have bloomed with an abundance of confidence. Just look at the difference in the body language. She certainly seems a whole lot more sure of herself and she looks absolutely striking!

True friends stick together no matter what and only grow stronger as the years go by.

Over the years, Ryan seems to have dumped the glasses for some contacts, and the flip-flops for boater's shoes. But he and Tenley have something in common. They're both wearing the same printed shirt. Hm!

It's amazing how 17 years can make a whole lot of difference in some of our food choices.

Aili seemed to be hooked on junk food in 2000, but then again, when you're in college and cramming for tests, a good meal is optional. But today, Aili looks beautiful and has traded snacks for bottled water.

Sadly, some photos reflect how much people change over the years and what we've lost.

In 2000, Katie and Amanda seemed inseparable. But as to why Katie isn't in the photo in 2017 is a mystery Sittenfeld has not revealed. The simple answer is that they might not be that close anymore.

The thing about this "Reunion" photo project is that you realize how much you miss things.

Chris, Connor, Sam, and Seth looked like a freaking boy band in 2000. But in 2017, Sam grew a beard but lost some hair, Chis finally embraced flip-flops, and Connor is nowhere in sight. But at least Seth still has all his hair.

Getting out of bed in the morning can be tough when you're a college student who parties.

Josephine certainly seemed grumpy in 2000. Clearly, she wasn't a morning person, and in 2017, Sittenfeld proved Josephine still wasn't. She's also still struggling to find bed sheets that will actually fit.

In 2000, Craig, Denise, Amy And Jess appeared to be lost and looking for their place in the world.

In 2017, Craig got tanned and learned how to wear a hat properly. While Denise and Amy are now smiling, which means they've found their path. But poor Jess still seems to be searching for the ultimate truth.

Olympia has probably dealt with a lot of people's stinky situations between 2000 and 2017.

17 years later and she's still looking fierce with her hands folded against her chest. Now, this seems to be one gal who won't put up with anyone's B.S.

Ethan, Ellie, and Christina seemed like the cool kids everyone wanted to hang out with.

But in 2017, the cool kid, aka Ellie had a conflict in her schedule, as she's filming "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt" which resulted in her career really taking off. This just gave Ethan and Christina more time to catch up.

Jess is the epitome of both plain and profound, which is what this portrait project is all about.

This before and after pic of Jess is both moody and casual. In both portraits, she seems to eye the camera with a sense of indifference. But then again, if capturing everyone's individuality was the goal, mission accomplished.

Ann reminds us a bit of a grown-up version of Eleven from "Stranger Things" in 2000.

It looks like Ann has moved on to a better place where the weather is a little less chilly, so she could finally wear short sleeve shirts. And she still looks very young, and really rocking those jeans!

Time changes people and places, but not when it comes to Chris, who looks about the same.

He's still wearing plaid shirts and has those amazing bushy eyebrows that scream "Peter Gallagher". And while his hair has grown just a tad, he's pretty much the same guy who still hasn't figured out to put on this hat.
