Boys! Can’t live with them, can’t live without them, right? But what about your BFFs? Wouldn’t it be nice to live in a house with all your besties where you can live and grow old together? After all, they've been in your life since forever. Or at least it feels that way! When something great happens, you can't wait to tell them. And when things go sour, you know they'll be right by your side, waiting for you to dry your tears on some Chinese takeout and a comedy flick.
Your besties are by your side when life throws you a curveball. They’re always willing to listen to your problems. And just when life gets a little tough, they make it all better by taking you on a girl’s night out. Good friends know all your stories, but a bestie has lived them with you. So if you’ve been blessed with such great friendships, you should count yourself lucky. Well, these 7 best friends from China knew they were the luckiest women on Earth. Not only did they have each other, but they had a pretty rocking plan. It all started when they joked about living together once they retired. Well, after getting their savings in order, the girls found the perfect place to move in and made their wildest dreams come true!
They joked about how awesome it’d be to buy a villa and move in together to retire in their 60s. Well, their plans might’ve started as a joke, but now, they’re taking their friendship to the very next level by buying a stunning mansion where they plan on retiring and moving in with their besties.
You joke about how you’d decorate the house. Who's going to be in charge of breakfast and who wouldn't mind cleaning the bathrooms. You fantasize about what it’d be like to have breakfast every morning with your besties because, really, there's no one in this world you'd rather spend so much time with.
But for this group of women, their joke turned into an actual plan. They started looking into their finances to see if they could potentially save enough money to purchase a communal mansion that would accommodate all 7 of them.
They all chipped in around $584,000 and bought a dilapidated house in the suburbs of Guangzhou in southeastern China, near Hong Kong. No one was exactly fighting to purchase the hollowed-out building. After all, it needed some major renovations.
The building is mostly made out of stone, so they were off to a great start. The property measures around 7,535 sq. ft., and offers some stunning views. The communal area, which is located on the main floor, is surrounded by beautiful fields and offers a beautiful view of the pool.
“We’ll probably cook together, barbecue in the fields, sing and collect food in the village. We joke that each of us should practice one skill so that we won’t be lonely and fight with each other 10 years later. Some can cook beautiful food, some know traditional Chinese medicine, some play instruments and some grow vegetables,” they joked.
There’s a huge kitchen island in the middle that makes cooking really convenient. The lightning is pretty inviting and the breakfast nook is sleek, modern, and oh-so-comfy. But there’s more!
The bedrooms are pretty spacious and surrounded by green sceneries that surround their communal mansion. Can you imagine what it must be like to wake up right in the middle of the forest and take in the most gorgeous sights?
The pavilion allows the girls to sit down and have tea while gazing at the forest right in front of them. What a great place to chit chat with your girls while you think about how lucky you are to be surrounded by your best friends in the whole world.
But they're already adding the final touches to their stunning retirement property. The group of friends is focusing on raising their families at the moment, but they have an incredible plan set up for their 60s when the kids are gone and it's time to retire.
And to take their dreamy relationship to the very next level, the girls decided to get some impressive skills that would allow them to benefit their group. Some of them are learning how to make music. That way, they can rely on each other to entertain themselves at night. Others are learning the ins and outs of Chinese medicine, which would allow them to cook healthy meals and indulge guiltlessly. The house might look good enough to live in as it is, but they believe they'll be officially moving in 10-15 years from now. BFFs of the world, are you listening? This is proof that if you really set your mind to it, you can do it!
