Breakdancing was born in New York city in the 1970’s. So, it came as no surprise when street performers in the city’s Washington Square Park prepared to put on a show. People were probably expecting to hear hip-hop or funk music. Instead when the music did play, it was Tchaikovsky’s "Sleeping Beauty."
