Today is September 11th, and it's hard to believe that the tragedy at the World Trade Center took place 14 years ago. It seems like just yesterday, but that's because the memories of that day are so vivid and painful to those who experienced it.
New Yorkers were at the forefront of it all, and for many, the scars of witnessing 9/11 as it happened have yet to fade. That's why when this rainbow formed above the city on the eve of September 11, 2015, New Yorkers all took notice. Chillingly, the rainbow seemed to root itself at Ground Zero, and the pictures going around social media are absolutely stunning.
